Accessibility Statement

Last updated May 1, 2026

Aurawave AI is committed to making our website and application accessible to people with disabilities. We believe that everyone should be able to upload selfies, view their generated photos, and download a delivered set without friction.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. WCAG 2.2 AA is the standard recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice for ADA Title III website accessibility, the European Accessibility Act, and most national accessibility laws.

What this means in practice

  • All interactive elements (buttons, form fields, sliders, dropdowns) are reachable by keyboard with visible focus indicators.
  • Body text meets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against background. Large text and call-to-action buttons meet a 3:1 ratio.
  • Photos and decorative images carry alt text where the image conveys content.
  • Form fields have associated labels, and form errors are announced to screen readers.
  • The site respects prefers-reduced-motion for users who have motion sensitivity. Animations degrade to static end-states.
  • Page structure uses semantic HTML headings (h1, h2, h3) so screen readers can navigate the page outline.

Known limitations

The before/after slider component on our comparison and homepage sections is operable by mouse, touch, and keyboard arrow keys. Users on assistive technology that does not pass keyboard focus through to the handle should use the static photo grid linked nearby instead.

Some long-form policy and FAQ pages exceed the recommended cognitive load for plain-language readability. We are working to add summary cards at the top of each section.

How we test

We run automated accessibility audits (axe DevTools, Lighthouse) on every page before deploy. We also run manual keyboard navigation and VoiceOver / NVDA screen reader tests on every new section before it ships.

If something does not work

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us and we will fix it. Email hello@aurawave.ai with:

  • The page URL where you hit the problem.
  • A short description of what was not working.
  • The browser, operating system, and assistive technology you were using, when known.

We respond to accessibility reports within 2 business days and fix verified issues within 14 days. If a fix takes longer, we keep you posted on progress.

Alternate access

If you cannot complete a session through our website or app for any reason, including but not limited to accessibility barriers, contact us and we will walk you through purchase, upload, and delivery by email.
