These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Aurawave AI ("Aurawave," "we," "us") at aurawave.ai and app.aurawave.ai. By creating an account, uploading photos, or purchasing a session, you agree to these Terms.
What Aurawave provides
Aurawave is an AI-headshot service. You upload selfies, our Intelligence Engine grades and curates AI-generated outputs, and we deliver a set of photos for you to download and use. Specific deliverables, photo counts, and pricing are listed on our pricing page and in your order confirmation.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
What you upload
You may only upload selfies of yourself, or of a person who has given you explicit permission to generate AI photos of them. You must not upload photos of:
- Minors under 18 (regardless of consent).
- Public figures, celebrities, or politicians whose likeness you do not own.
- Anyone who has not given explicit consent.
- Anyone in a state of nudity, partial nudity, or in an offensive or harmful context.
You retain ownership of the photos you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use those photos solely to train your private session model and produce your generated photos.
What we generate
You own the AI-generated photos delivered to your account. You may use them for any lawful personal or commercial purpose, including but not limited to LinkedIn, your firm bio, your company website, press, marketing materials, and printed media.
We retain the right to use a non-personally-identifiable subset of generated outputs for internal model evaluation and to display anonymized examples in our marketing, only with your explicit prior consent (opt-in checkbox at checkout). We never use your photos in marketing without that consent.
Acceptable use
You must not use Aurawave to:
- Generate photos of any person without their consent.
- Generate photos for fraud, identity theft, harassment, or impersonation.
- Generate photos for political deepfakes or disinformation.
- Generate any sexual, exploitative, or otherwise harmful content.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise circumvent our service.
Violation of acceptable use is grounds for immediate account termination without refund. See our full Acceptable Use Policy for details.
Payment and billing
All sessions are billed at the prices listed on our pricing page at time of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe in US dollars. By purchasing a session, you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide.
Sessions are one-time purchases. There are no recurring subscriptions for individual sessions.
Refunds and the redo policy
If your delivered photos do not look like you, we redo them at no additional charge. Refund eligibility, the redo workflow, and timing are detailed on our Refund Policy page. Read that page before purchasing.
Service availability
We work to keep Aurawave available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance. Unplanned outages are addressed as quickly as possible.
Disclaimers and liability
Aurawave is provided "as is." We do not warrant that every generated photo will meet your subjective preferences. We do warrant that every photo we deliver passed our Intelligence Engine's grading checklist.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Aurawave is limited to the amount you paid for the affected session.
Termination
You may close your account at any time from account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Lee County, Florida.
Changes to these Terms
We update these Terms as our service evolves. Material changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Aurawave after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
